The Importance of Journaling

Personal New Insights Journal
Everyone should journal, everyone needs to journal! ... so I was told back in school many years ago. The reason for journal writing is to help you gain new insights and knowledge to live a better, healthier life by lowering your stress and anxiety levels. This has been known to do wonders for your self-esteem. Journaling helps you de-stress.

  • When you write about your thoughts and feelings, you are decluttering your mind by organizing those thoughts and emotions into coherent chunks of information that are easier for the brain to process.
  • Expressive writing can be a constructive way to cope with daily stress and anxiety. Journaling lets you observe behavioral patterns to take a note of, negative influences to be avoided, things that could be done differently. You stay in control.

According to research published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, expressive writing reduces intrusive thoughts about negative events and improves working memory.

  • Writing about your experiences can improve memory retention.
  • Routine: writing regularly is beneficial making it easier to observe the positive and negative in everything and everybody. This regular pattern of expression will make it easier to see and make corrections by removing obstacles which block the path of positive energy that surrounds you.
  • There is a Yin and Yang process of identifying your feelings, daily awareness's and ability to be mindful by recording the positive and negative events, feelings, acquaintances within your environment, surroundings and situations allowing you to create a sense of well-being. From failures to gratitude to great successes.

Stay in control by paying attention to details. Identify the triggers to what makes you tick, feeling relaxed compared to feeling stressed.

Your Personal Journal notes the gratitude of your day (or week) as well as the negative or Yin energy awareness. By keeping these separate lists, you will collect insights by identifying the positive and negative activities within your environment and other aspects relative to your feelings, emotions, likes and dislikes.
  • By having a personal journal, you have a place where you can observed repeated actions, feelings, situations and note when positive energy creates balance and a state of well-being.
  • Gratitude, being mindful and aware all help to remove the obstacles, negative energies that cause havoc and you will notice and feel change... more energy, less stress. Note the dates, time of year, situations when you experience more Yin than Yang energy... it's all to do with maintaining balance, good Feng Shui!
  • Journaling gives ideas room to grow when they become stagnant because they didn't become tangible and real. Thoughts and ideas must be written down because this allows for growth and expansion.
  • Laying out your thoughts, ideas, upsets or goals on paper fights depression, fewer doctor's visits and a healthier immune system. Why? It keeps your brain from gathering dust. Once a day, once a week or once a month... journal your way to success in what matters.
So... step inside the world of journaling to simply improve yourself. Fun Schway Journal is a wonderful gift for anyone in the family, friends or  anyone feeling anxious, stressed, or someone who enjoys gratitude journals, list-makers, writers, entrepreneurs, yoga enthusiasts, sports participants... and all the other people looking for a state of well-being.

From the ancient teachings and sacred studies, positive and negative energies surround us within the environment, nature, situations, relationships and material products. Be mindful of Yin/Yang energy by paying specific attention to details, and then create the positive lifestyle by recording these differences. Be mindful of the time, similarities of repetitive negative energies that require attention - note the obstacles - and then you will attract positive energy: maintaining the balance to succeed.
